Within the transition to robotized housing services and utilities the necessity of special city infrastructure for robots parking and maintenance will be rapidly increasing in the nearest future. The appearance of such new kind of infrastructure in the city tissue will also provoke into establishment of the new type of human-robot interaction ecology.

The main point of this project is that terminal for robots (RoboDOME) should not be a severe concrete box. It should be ecologically and organically integrated into modern city situation. Such technical terminal should be definitely multifunctional and interactive space open for the public.

RoboDOME is considered to be easy-to-build standard modular solution that can provide a construction of the terminals system placed in green zones and squares around the city. The architectural solution is based on the implementation of sloping park principle, that continues existing local park and opens the space for the machinery below.

The whole architectural conception of the terminal is focused to establish a link between the humanity and the world of robots. In order to show all inner processes happening with robots and clarify robotic life for the public a glass diagonal corridor was cut through the first level of the building. In general, terminal has complex multi-tier relief where each layer is functional and can interact with people.

The basic modules for such terminals are: small workshop and warehouse, washing and parking zone, charge station. And there are variative additional modules such as artificial lakes, skate park, vertical garden that depend on the exact district situation.
